Mi Sheberach Form

One of the central Jewish blessings for those who are ill or recovering from illness or accidents is the Mi Sheberach.

The blessing takes its name from two words: “mi” and “sheberach” meaning, “the One who blessed.” It asks that the One who blessed our ancestors bring about a complete healing for the person for whom the blessing is said.

On Shabbat and Festivals we offer the Mi Sheberach blessing for those in need of healing (physically & emotionally). Rabbi Ciner will see that this blessing is said for your relative or friend on Shabbat morning.

If you would like to add someone to the Mi Sheberach list, please provide us the name (either English or Hebrew) of your friend and/or loved one whose name you wish us to include.

We will keep the person’s name active on our list for a period of thirty days. After 30 days you may resubmit your request if you wish us to continue saying the blessing.

Please notify us if the name should be removed from the list earlier by emailing info@bethjacobirvine.org.

Please note, where the Hebrew names are not known the English ones are okay.
