8:00 PM - 9:30 PMThe Jewish People and the State of Israel
What does it mean to have a Jewish identity; to guarantee the Jewish future of the State of Israel? The religious and non-religious need to work together, especially in these Corona times. We begin this path by focusing on secular-religious relations and state issues that connect Israeli society to the Jewish State. Rabbi David Stav is Chief Rabbi of the City of Shoham & Chairman of the Tzohar organization.
Rav Stav is a graduate of Yeshivat Mercaz HaRav and is an ordained judge by the Chief Rabbinate of Israel. Under Rav Stav’s courageous leadership, Tzohar has emerged as one of the most dominant social forces, paving the way for a more ethical, inclusive, and inspiring approach to Zionist, Jewish life in Israel.
