Interested in Pesachdigeh cheese blintzes, embelach, and pletslach? How about Pesachdigeh taigelach? Learn the easy way to make these challenging sounding dishes with Beth Jacob Women and the Rosh Chodesh Women’s Group. Join us on Sunday, March 9 at 7:00 p.m. for Pesach Gourmet, when BJW Chef and Caterer, Nina Varkel will demonstrate some new and easy recipes for Pesach. Nina is well known in our community for her capable and delectable catering skills. She is a graduate of the Culinary Arts Institute of South Africa and has run successful bakeries and catering firms there. With her partner, Ruth, Nina is the co-owner of Gourmet Caterers, a premier catering company here in Orange County. It has been a delightful year forming and implementing Beth Jacob Women and I believe that we can have a very progressive group in the future. We are looking for a few good women who will step forward and build upon what we have created. A nominating committee is forming for the coming year and you may be one of the chosen to continue our good work. Please help make BJW thrive. Let Dad get the kids dinner and their baths and join Beth Jacob Women for some fun and games. Ladies, you are allowed to have a good time! We will be setting up games of Bridge, Mah Jong, Black Jack, Scrabble and Hand & Foot. “What” you ask, “is Hand & Foot? It is a chancy game of cards that is easy to learn and play, and lots of fun! Our evening of fun begins at 6:00 p.m on June 1, (Yom Yerushalayim) and once again, we will work in conjunction with the Rosh Chodesh Women’s Group. Wishing you all a Chag Purim Sameach and a Joyous and Kosher L’Pesach. Joyce Tachner
